Superstar Salmon Cakes {kid friendly, gluten free, paleo, Whole30}
These salmon cakes are my go-to quick, family friendly meal for busy nights. All my kids gobble them up, they take only a couple minutes to prepare, and they load our bodies with healthy omega-3 fats, vitamin d, and protein - all key nutrients for a calm mind and emotional balance! What's not to love?!
Superstar Salmon Cakes {kid friendly, gluten free, paleo, Whole30}
Great for a main meal, topped with avocado and served alongside sweet potatoes, broccoli, salad, and sauerkraut.
INGREDIENTS
3 cans wild caught Alaskan salmon
2 eggs, organic and pasture-fed
2-3 T organic mayonnaise
Several shakes of dill
Several shakes of herbamere seasoning and/or sea salt
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix well until ingredients are combined.
2. Heat butter, ghee, or other cooking oil on a skillet over medium heat.
3. Put a ball of salmon mixture onto pan, flatten with back of fork.
4. Cook on each side 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
